Custom EVA Decking & Vinyl Wrap Solutions

TidalWorx provides custom EVA decking solutions and vinyl wrapping to the marine industry.

We are based on the Isle of Wight, and offer services to RIB’s, motor and sailing yachts, fishing boats and commercial vessels across the entire UK.

As the UK’s distributor and installer of U-Dek, we will work with you to create a tailored, comfortable, hard wearing and low maintenance deck for your vessel. We take care of the full process in-house from start to finish and use state-of-the-art equipment and processes to provide you with the highest quality final product.

We supply both private boat owners and OEM boat manufacturers.

Our vinyl wrapping services will transform your boats appearance in the most cost effective and least intrusive way.

Wrapping your boat will not only modernise it, but protect the gelcoat beneath from harmful UV, cover faded areas, and give you creative freedom to make your boat your own.

There’s no lengthy sanding, priming and painting processes, or the dust and hassle that goes with it. We will take care of the surface preparation prior to applying the vinyl to make the experience fast and efficient.

TidalWorx also serve the commercial ship building sector with our Orca-Mactac HT-2 Offshore vinyl. This specialist vinyl is specifically designed and formulated to create an anti-corrosion barrier for aluminium vessels, and the adhesive forms a strong bond to raw aluminium far superior to automotive grade vinyls.

TidalWorx is the UK’s exclusive installer of this product, under agreement with Orca-Mactac.

Jamie Saunders

Before TidalWorx, Jamie was a manufacturing and materials specialist at global companies Rolls-Royce, GKN Aerospace and Vestas, working with teams to deliver world firsts in aviation, defence and green energy.

He has worked as a GRP boat builder and has a great understanding of how boats are made. This time spent in the marine industry is what sparked the passion to create a business that helps its customers gain the most enjoyment from their own vessels.

This experience in developing and handling a wide variety of materials lends itself to recommending and applying the best possible materials to TidalWorx’s customers for their boats.

George McFarlane

I’m the founder and Director of TidalWorx Ltd. It was set up with a clear vision to build a marine business that can serve not only leisure, but also commercial businesses with their needs. We have years of experience in the marine industry that has aided us in starting Tidalworx Ltd. My background has been in the management of Logistics and transportation companies, this has helped me gain a good insight into how to work effectively with a multitude of companies on a very tight schedule.

I’ve lived and worked on the Isle of Wight for most of my life. Some contract work has seen me travel around the UK.

I want to build a business that can be a one stop shop for our clients, which allows their production schedules to be streamlined with ours.
